These are the things we control - the focus of school choices, happiness, doing the right thing, etc.
Circle of Concern
These are things we do not control - when we focus on these things it takes time and energy away from the things we can control. This includes: other people's thoughts, what other people say, what other people do, how others treat me, etc.
